Well, the answer is yes yes yes. Norton Antivirus 2007 is a firewall inbound (Internet Worm Protection is not) so u need to take any other firewall and still in the Windows firewall is not enough. Speaking def ABT winning anti-spyware, and there's a conflict with Norton AntiVirus Live Update and Ad-Aware.
The conclusion is that, if u pls dont install spyware, such as Norton Norton Anti-spyware or install security updates software that conflicts with Norton.
I think you experiment a little. Try it for a while with any loan, and if you find that things are gummed up, shut up and try AdAware for some time. I have McAfee Security Center (with its own firewall program) and Windows Firewall is not yet complete in the background (I think) with Windows Defender. I want to make the defense. I have AdAware off, but the day before you turn off the computer or Internet session after a long breath. You can by going to your Start menu, click Run, type disable "msconfig" go to "Home", and uncheck the AdAware program. Then you can run only if you want.
Firewall and antivirus software are not the same, and Windows Defender is not a firewall not.
You can never be too careful when it comes to protecting your PC. May I suggest to disable the Windows Firewall. Then they will be protected by using Norton AntiVirus.
I had the same problem, run Norton Spyware Firewall and Windows simultaneously, the lock up my computer to crash / on many occasions. I disabled my Norton firewall and use XP as protection!
